Cheap, but very good value T-Shirts June 25, 2009

Everyone knows that Fruit Of The Loom is what you would call a "cheap" clothes brand.
Not sold very commonly on the high street, I came across these T-Shirts here on Amazon whilist looking for new clothing for a holiday.
Thought for £1.99 I couldn't really go wrong, and I certainly didn't.
I like my T-Shirts not too loose or tight, but ones that hold their shape well, especially around the shoulders.
These T-Shirts do exactly that, so far I have two and intend to get a few more.
Match them with a smart pair of jeans or 3/4 shorts, shoes or trainers, the look is very good.
For plain T-Shirts, look no further.
added 7.7.09 - I wrote this review before either of my two T-Shirts had been washed. Having washed them on our standard quickwash cycle like we do all of our other clothes, these T-Shirts have shrunk by over two inches and no longer fit comfortably.
Be very careful when washing, you have been warned.

This is the sort of product I wish we'd see more of; no unnecessary packing, fabulous quality and exactly what is to be expected from a 'name' outfit like Fruit of the Loom. All combined with a price that makes High Street retailers (and even most on-line ones too) look greedy.
Not what you might want for a present (lack of fancy packaging) but just for wear, and thats what t-shirts are for, exactly what you need.

I agree (mostly) with other positive reviews for this product. I am still using FoL T-shirts bought in the states when I lived there 10+ years ago (!) so decided to try one of the long sleeved items from SkateSlime.
Quality as expected. No problems washing on 'cool' cycle - no noticeable shrinkage, but would suggest buying a 'generous' size.
Have since bought 5 more (mostly grey again) and would recommend them to anyone looking for decent quality, no-frills clothing.

I bought one of these t-shirts to check the quality and thought at £2.15 i can't really loose. The quality was impressive so i ordered 8 more. If you want a plain decent t-shirt that fits well and doesn't cost much you can't really go wrong with these.
